The Kids Moana Blue Contemporary Korowai invites your child to connect with their inner strength and heritage through its striking design. Featuring a vibrant mix of royal blue, black, and turquoise coque feathers, complemented by white coque feathers and a 2-inch royal blue taniko band, this korowai is both elegant and bold. Each piece is meticulously crafted to order by our whanau business in Aotearoa, following cultural customs and the expert guidance of kaumatua. This korowai not only offers a beautiful expression of identity but also provides warmth and comfort, making it a treasured garment for your child to wear proudly in any setting.
Each korowai is carefully handmade by Hiria and her family in their Auckland home studio. This size is crafted within 2 weeks, then blessed before being shipped straight to you. This size is recommended for children aged 6-12yrs.

The materials used and sourced for our contemporary designs are as follows:
Lining: Black polycotton blend
Feathers: Our contemporary korowai designs include a variety of colored craft feathers for fashion industry clothing and costumes, particularly hen and rooster coque feathers.
Bands: Our contemporary korowai designs include machine made taniko bands made locally in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
