Hiwaiterangi is part of our Signature Collection, handcrafted in our West Auckland studio and finished with our exclusive KBH Signature Tāniko band.

Named after the Matariki star that carries our dreams into the future, Hiwaiterangi represents possibility. It is created for moments of achievement, new beginnings and the milestones that remind us how far we have come.

Its all-white design reflects clarity, hope and new chapters. Delicate gold accents woven through the signature tāniko catch the light, symbolising the aspirations we carry and the future we continue to create.

Every Hiwaiterangi is Ava-crafted by hand using premium materials and made especially for you. No two are exactly the same, making each korowai as meaningful as the occasion it is worn for.

Lining: Black polycotton blend

Feathers: Our contemporary korowai designs include a variety of colored craft feathers for fashion industry clothing and costumes, particularly hen and rooster coque feathers.

Bands: Our contemporary korowai designs include machine made taniko bands made locally in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
