Made to order - Each custom korowai is designed and created in response to the whānau it is made for. This process allows us to honour individual stories, milestones, and responsibilities, while maintaining the integrity of our craft.

The Custom Design Process

1. Initial Enquiry & Quote
   Custom orders begin with an enquiry. A quote is provided based on scope, materials, and timeframe.
2. Design Consultation & Approval
   Once you proceed, your order is handed over to Hiria for technical design advice and final design approval. This ensures the korowai is both meaningful and structurally sound.
3. Payment & Production
   Production begins once the design has been approved and full payment has been received.
   From this point, a 3-week production timeframe applies.
4. Completion & Delivery
   Each korowai moves through our production process with care and attention before being prepared for collection or delivery.

Important Notes

• Custom korowai are made to order and cannot be altered once design approval has been given.
• Timeframes begin after both design approval and payment are complete.
• Due to the nature of custom work, availability is limited and orders are accepted selectively.
